We are James and Sarah. James was born in Germany and at the age of 5 moved with his family to France. Sarah grow up in Morocco and moved to France to finish her studies in finance. James and Sarah met while doing an internship at an investment bank (boring right?!)... but then the adventure had just begin. We travelled the world (but Sarah thinks it is still not enough and that too many countries and cultures are still to discover) and got married in the beautiful city of Versailles. 

Our love story with coffee started when we both moved to Germany to start a new life chapter. Back in France, all we cared about is delicious pastry (for Sarah), tea, cheese and wine (for James).  We learned from a friend that coffee is among the most consumed beverages in Germany, when we always thought is was beer...

We started our coffee shop hunting ritual and transformed our coffee consumption from a common mean to a true  experiment. At each coffee shop we closely looked at machines used, coffee origins, roasters, and started also hunting the best cappuccino in town. Aniis coffee shop in Frankfurt is one of our favourites. Then, our “QG” moved when coffee Bohnerie opened. The hospitality, quality ingredients and the passion fruit cheesecake of Bohnerie cafe (yes Sarah still can’t live without cakes), made us truly enjoy the coffee shop spirit. 

After some time we realised that at each trip all our google maps saved places are coffee shops.
